Kampala International University

 


Founded in 2001, Kampala International University (KIU) is a private, not-for-profit institution in Uganda. It has been conferred chattered status since 2009. The institution offers a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs, as well as professional training. It offers degrees in international business, education, and law. Its academics are highly regarded, and its alumni are well-known internationally. In 2009, KIU won a bid to become an accredited university.

The school was chartered in 2009, making it the oldest private university in Uganda. Its three campuses are located in Kampala and several regional centers. The Western Campus houses the Faculties of Biomedical Sciences, Clinical Medicine, Pharmacy, Allied Health Sciences, and Psychology. In addition, the KIU Teaching Hospital, Uganda's largest private teaching hospital, is located on the campus. The school offers undergraduate, master, and doctoral programs.

The main campus of the Kampala International University is situated in Ishaka, which is a major city in western Uganda. Its campus is home to more than 7,000 students and over 300 faculty members. The school is predominantly a science-based institution. The school also has a School of Health Sciences on the western campus. It is one of seven medical schools in Uganda. The school was established in 2002 and offers courses in medicine.

The university is 19 years old and has an admission rate of 60-70%. The university is open to international students, and offers many facilities in addition to academics. In addition to providing courses, the university offers housing, sports facilities, and financial aid and scholarships. Additionally, KIU also provides administrative and educational services. For the first time student, it is easy to get enrolled at KIU. Its tuition is very affordable, and most undergraduate programs will cost less than 2,500 USD per year.

The university is located on three campuses: the western campus is the main campus, with more than 4,000 students. The eastern campus houses the KIU School of Health Sciences. It is the first private medical school in Uganda. It offers Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes in medicine and nursing. The university also operates a teaching hospital with a capacity of 1,200 beds. It is a non-profit, nonprofit institution. It is one of the largest universities in
