Salar Nouri, Director, Producer, Animator, and Founder of Nouri Pictures

Iranian-born and raised in the UK, Salar Nouri is a director, producer, screenwriter, CG artist, and animator. He graduated from the University College London and studied directing under Oscar-nominated director Michael Uno. After completing an MA in Text and Performance at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, he founded his own production company, Nouri Pictures, in London. His films have been screened internationally including The Oscar-nominated The Fugitive.

Before making his first feature film, Salar Nouri studied animation at the USC School of Cinematic Arts in Los Angeles. He went on to work for acclaimed directors such as Michael Toshiyuki Uno. Uno, a graduate of the USC School of Cinematic Arts, is also a friend of Salar's. Among his achievements are the TV series Dawson's Creek, the feature film A Private Affair, and the short film The Silence.

Nouri Pictures, a production company founded by Nouri, has made an impact on the world of animated short films. Its talented team of artists and animators has managed to create stories that go beyond reality. In its debut film, Treemen, Salar Nouri has crafted an epic fantasy that follows the journey of a young woman through the mystical world of Treemen. The film will be shown at various film festivals worldwide in 2022. It is likely that Nouri's debut feature film will have a similarly impactful impact on the short film industry.
